Remember these hard-boiled dames?
The Edible Edies were created last year for a Grey Gardens contest over at the fabulous Renovation Therapy blog. Though they gave it their crazy all, they lost – to a baby. Already suitably bats, they hung around the fridge for a few weeks, singing show tunes, applying lipstick, decomposing…

In the documentary Grey Gardens, Big Edie and Little Edie – depicted here in egg form – fought eviction from their beautifully decomposing Hamptons house.
But that was nothing compared to the indignities of life in the fridge.
