My former roommates introduced me to two types of awesome, both of which I'm SHOCKED aren't already on here: Animal crackers dunked in funfetti (or fudge or pink vanilla) frosting and Double Stuf Oreos dragged through an open jar of peanut butter. It's the food of the gods (and likely one of the quickest ways to meet them). The one they never got me to try was a Peanut Butter Grilled Cheese Sandwich.

My odd ones:
Green olives with pimientos, straight from the jar
Smoked gouda by the wheel, with or without crackers
Wheat Thins with barbeque sauce- (I'm a vegetarian!)
Countrytime Lemonade powder, straight from the can

If I could figure out how to combine dripping-with-butter popcorn and piping hot four-cheese nachos, that'd be my ultimate snack, paired with pineapple soda. (I discovered this Fanta flavor a few years ago, and save it for extra special treats.) Of course, the anything gummi, anything chocolate, and peanut-butter-off-of-a-spoon indulgences go without saying.

I'm not ashamed of any of the things I like now, but when I was a kid I used to make "cookie dough" to eat similar to how someone else said they made "frosting": creamed margarine and white sugar. I also used to eat plain margarine like it was candy.

Now that I'm an adult and in charge of the grocery shopping, I don't buy margarine and haven't eaten it in probably 20 years. I do still eat cookie dough--Nestle Toll House chocolate chip recipe with half the recommended amount of chocolate chips because I like the juxtaposition of salty and sweet. I also love bacon maple cookies for that salty/sweet combo. Buttered popcorn Jelly Belly jelly beans, sour apple Jolly Ranchers, Hot Tamales, and good black licorice are among my favorite candies, but I'm not picky. I love circus peanuts and slightly stale Peeps. I could eat a whole sheet pan of marguerites (Ritz crackers topped with peanut butter and marshmallows, stuck under the broiler to brown) in one sitting and have been known to dip pretzels in canned vanilla frosting. Another favorite: McDonald's (and no other!) french fries dipped in a strawberry shake.

Um, I really shouldn't have started typing this comment on an empty stomach!

Everyone I know, knows that I love Cheetos. What they don't know is that when I am alone and craving a snack I will but Chili Cheese Flavored Fritos and eat an entire bag with a bottle of Dr. Pepper.

Oh, wow. I found this as I was eating my secret snack of shame. Oatmeal cookie dough. Yeah. Consuming raw eggs is bad. You shouldn't do it. But I love it!

Sweet/Salty
take a saltine ( only saltine!!!) cracker, place one marshmallow on the cracker, place on cookie sheet. Make about a dozen or so of these. Run under broiler, watching carefully. When they are done to your marshmallow specifications ( light golden or burnt black and oozy?) Take out, cool a few minutes and.......well. Enough said.

Ritz crackers spread with peanut butter and topped with sliced green olives with pimentoes. This is VERY good. When I was a kid it was white bread spread with butter covered with a thick layer of sugar, and maybe cinnamon to be fancy.

Damn you! This is such a gross snack, but I looooove it. Jalapeno-Pimiento Cheese from Whole Foods, dolloped on tortilla chips and warmed in the oven until it's all one volcanic cheese bomb...

I've never been so happy to feel slightly nauseous! What a great collection of shameful snacks—although brownies don't count as shameful in my world. They're just food. Most of my food shames date back to childhood, including glazed doughnuts—which I used to wash down with a Coke (yecch)—and Nacho Cheese Doritos and Mounds bars. In fact, I just finished the last of a bag of mini-Mounds. None left for Halloween.
