Hi, there.
wonderful post: had me laughing the whole way through, although I really DO want to hear which celebrity chef irritates you the most – and why!!
One thing: considering that your sous-chef is your daughter, i think you'd probably use the more informal "toi" to refer to her – and not the more formal vous, which you'd reserve, say, for your third-grade teacher ...
loving the site. thanks.

This might just be my favorite Tell Simmer ever. The back-and-forth had me laughing AND on the verge of tears the entire time. (Pregnancy hormones. I blame them for all of my crying, now.)

(I will admit I have been known to eat jalapenos on my pizza, but I know you will forgive me, because these things are part of my heritage.

MAYBE, if SOMEONE would post her DEEP DISH PIZZA RECIPE, I would stop eating jalapenos on my pizza. I'm just sayin'.)

Thank Josie for an inspired interview.

Mmmm, those platonic idea rugelach at the end . . .
Josie is an excellent interviewer!

So since you mentioned watching Julia Child, have you seen the Julie and Julia movie yet? Any thoughts if so? I saw it with two friends, one who told us afterwards that she had made the duck (very complicated dish - to us laypeople, anyway - appearing at the end of the movie).

Ah - the mother-daughter connection. Long may it bind (in that totally non-strangling way of course). Hard to tell which is cuter - the interview or the photo of the two of you from this summer. Maybe a tie....
