Oh dear, I hadn’t read this post and the photos, the story and the recipe sound irresistible. Too bad it is 11:30 pm, sorry to wake up my kitchen up but here I come downstairs again, I am just going to have to give it a shot. And I do have the ginger handy! Give an organized woman a clipboard and she can move the world…or kitchen as the case may be. These sound perfect to nibble on while making a holiday feast. Chocolate and ginger should keep any/all hands from feeling put upon. Printed and saved….

Oh MY. My stomach literally just loudly rumbled when I read the recipe. I’ve made a crystallized ginger scone but I’m loving the sound of adding double chocolate to the mix next time. DELISH! I would much rather make your scones than clean grease traps any day.

Great read, and beautiful looking. Typically, I dislike scones because they are often boring and dry. Ginger sounds like a nice alternative, and I wonder how this would taste with Mayan cocoa powder.
