Technically Speaking
Aug 29th, 2009 by Marilyn
If you tried to visit Simmer yesterday and got nowhere, my apologies. Due to some merciless ghost in the machine, the site was down all day. Now it’s back up, but appears to be fevered and coughing. Pages, posts and other content may or may not be working, but the front page is; Upside-Down Tomato Basil Bread, um, forever! Behind the scenes, working as fast as we can to beat confounding technicalities and build a better Simmer.

That? That’s Raspberry Basil Caprese. If the blog ever stops hacking, we’ll talk about it. Until then, thank you for your patience and friendship. And please, send wine and chocolate.
* Update! After 24 hours of tearful code wrestling, most areas seem to be working – for now. Still plenty of coughing and sputtering, though, so I’m putting the blog to bed and keeping it quiet for the weekend. I do believe comments are working, but if you’d like to reach me, please email: marilyn.naron@gmail.com.

Looking forward to talking about Raspberry Basil Caprese.
Drat! Sorry the ether is messing with S.T.D., I’m dieing to hear about the raspberry caprese…I have fresh mozz I just made and I’m sorta over tomato caprese cuz we’ve had it about 100 times already this week.
Oh these machines…..so great right up until they aren’t.
I find myself so totally spoiled that if a page takes longer than a nanosecond (full confession:have no idea how long that is) to load I am off to see something else.
I hope your technical woes are history already. Have a lovely day of rest and when you are back – we will be too!
First, I love caprese. Thank you very much. Second, let me know if you want the contact information for Jessie, the girl is a genius.
Deep breaths, cold compresses and comfort food cure so many things… Glad you’re up & running again
I will send as much wine and chocolate as it will take for you to tell me EVERYTHING about what I am seeing in that gorgeous caprese photo. What a delicious tease… Hope things are all fixed soon!
is all well?? it looks well!!
Technically speaking…I have a huge shrub o’ basil and am looking very forward to the Raspberry Basil Caprese recipe.
