Wisely noted, Sara, Print that slogan onto dish towels for someone's etsy shop. With royalties to Marilyn, of course. For years, my son's bedtime ritual was a sliced fresh pear and book and I am sentimentally fond of them. I must delete this vivid story from my brain.

"If we can arrive at the golden spot where we agree that something smells, that smell will surely be found."

That surely must be one of the mystical tenets of marriage.
You are brilliantly funny.

AAAAHHH! I am NOT afraid of mice, but I am afraid of pieces of mice... Which would probably what most people are... afraid of stinky pieces of any not living thing anymore.

But equating with a pear? Well, I can see why you would...but you shouldn't... tee hee

That was HYSTERICAL. I wanted to laugh out loud, but I was afraid my co-workers would think I was nuts and when I would have had to tell them WHY I was laughing... They would probably NOT think it was as funny as I did. That being said, thank you for the cute post!

Oh oh oh oh that was so hilariously funny. Trying desperately to not laugh out loud because my husband is dozing peacefully a few feet away. Very difficult. And whoa was that creepy. Really, really creepy. I could feel the icy finger of panic on my neck during the NOT PEAR! part.

Our first house was darling but it had a lot of mice. A lot. Plus a rat which I had forgotten about until just now. (ayiiiiii!!!!!) One time, I found a bunch of dead baby mice in my "clean" laundry basket. Cleaning up that mess required the world's most pitiful DIY hazmat suit you have ever seen. But I did what had to be done, cuz I'm tough like that.
