I never knew my 74# golden retriever loved it until I heard an odd noise one night. He'd gotten a butter wrapper out of the trash and licked it clean. Now, if you even open a stick of butter he comes running. It's the only thing he's ever taken from the trash. He only ever eats something you hand him or put in his bowl. But butter... It was a heck of a lot of effort, time, cost etc. the counters? Well I suppose they are about an inch lower that standard. Nothing to write home about. Then last month it came back to bite me in the butt when we had to replace our dishwasher and IT WOULDN'T COME OUT!!! The contractor had counter sunk the counter!
