Lip Smackers! I remember those, mainly because I grew up (and still live) way out in the boonies and the local drugstore didn't have em. I made my mom drive all the way to the mall so I could buy some.

Glad to know I'm not the only Love's Baby Soft freak! And Jean - it was "Tickle." Who could forget that giant bright-colored dome? As I recall, it was very wet.

Seriously, we have to stop this. I was reading the post and thinking "wow all she needs is Loves Baby Soft" and then got to the end of your post...and there were the words.

What was that deoderant in the late 70's/early 80's that we all desperately had to have? It was like "twinkle" or something...I can't remember the name.

WOW! What memories. My sister had a part-time job at a local drug store and she got an employee discount. We had those lip smackers in both sizes (the normal size and the JUMBO ones.) My favorite was a coconut one (was it coconut pineapple?). That's been too long ago -- I can't remember. Oh man, and I think in 1982, I had all of the solid color izod polo shirts (in every color) and most of the striped ones as well. Now I have......uh.......none. Those were the days!

I loved Lip Smacker and I really loved Love's Baby Soft. And of course there was always Jean Nate. I miss those easier days. Now you walk into the drug store and there are 50 kinds of makeup and 90 kinds of lip gloss, etc. Too many choices! ha.

Dr. Pepper Lip Goo! I have been using Bonnie Bell Dr. Pepper Lip Smacker for ... wait for it ... 30 years! There was a thing in Seventeen magazine to get free Lip Smackers and I sent in for it, by golly! My Dr. Pepper Lip Goo was my "lucky test" lip goo which I would always take with me to tests in college (along with specific pencils).

LOL - Love's Baby Soft. The other day I was watching the Will Ferrell thingie on the ESPY awards, and he mentioned Jovan Musk and I had to LOL at that, too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CmEvt5myAeA The comment isn't until near the end of the video.
