I wish I liked French cuisine better. I do not particularly wish that about les rognons, though. I’m spoiled enough to have been raised where eating organ meats was entirely optional. I still haven’t managed to try foie gras, although Anne’s Braunschweiger ball is divine. Maybe I’m biased if it’s not German? Hm.

I’m so glad you’re having fun in Paris, and hope your flight home is safe and uneventful. It can be entertaining, though, if it needs to be. *grin*

Wow, interesting…kidneys…NOT! The pastries look incredible though. The colors alone are gorgeous! I have never been there, but it looks really amazing.

“Rognons d’agneau à la moutarde” is my favourite – melts like foie gras – not chewy at all.

Ummm, you can keep the veal kidneys…looks good but I’d be gagging…I’m a weenie.
