Under Cabinet Lighting: Not a Scam!

I can’t believe it.
I was sure that under cabinet lighting was one of those frivolous extras in the kitchen that we were just throwing in because, well, it was a new kitchen and you could throw as many lights in as you wanted to. But no.
They make everything…brighter. Things look downright lovely underneath them. Like still life.
So to review: under cabinet lighting, officially not a scam. We are loving them.
As for the banana bread in the foreground – watch for that story soon. My parents are visiting – and let me say that having house guests can really cut into your recipe blogging time.
On the plus side, they are enjoying the new old house; they are breaking in the guest room and bath; they’re learning who all the entering and exiting workmen are – and they’re eating a lot of banana bread.
